Learning Curve Dinosaur Train

Our 3.5 son is very much into the dinosaur train and we thought Buddy plus Boris will keep him entertained for a long time. We were wrong. The toys don't have a large vacabulary and seem to be stuck in the same patterns. Some of the sensors on Boris' body were not working at all and Budy's eye came off the first time my son droped the dinosaur. It is a choking hazard on its own, so be careful and check Buddy's eyes to make sure they are not coming off. My 3.5 year old lost all interest in this toy after 1 week and now my 1.5 twins are running around with it and make roaring noises. We spent around 60 dollars on the two toys and the kids would probably get more enjoyment from dinosaur puzzles that we could have bought for the same amount of money.
